Submissions and AI generations get a 402 response with an Upgrade prompt. Existing calculators keep rendering, your bots keep replying within their cap. Nothing breaks — you just can't go past the cap until next month or until you upgrade.
LemonSqueezy is the merchant of record. EU/UK customers see VAT added at checkout based on their country; US customers see sales tax where applicable. We don't touch tax compliance — that's their job.
